Writing Assignment 1:

Read Chapters 5, 6, 7, and 8. Note two things or ideas you find useful in each chapter, then write 2-3 paragraphs about each idea.

Writing Assignment 2:

Finish Case 1 (Selecting the Right Forklift) on page 20 in the book. For this case, I want you to write a memo to Mickey that compares the two forklifts (gas and electric). See the general, memo format beginning on page 550, check the book’s index, and note the formats in Discussions posted by other students. Mickey wants the information from you in a memo format, but he will make the recommendation (not you) and take the credit. Be sure to read our discussions about this assignment for good ideas and guidance.
