You are a zealot of a deontological discipline or religion. One of the religions axioms states that you should not talk, visit, or even touch those not in your discipline. If you do you, and your family will be thrown out of the discipline. All within your family have believed for thousands of years, that only in this discipline will you live forever. You are travelling home and see someone laying on the side of the road. You are concerned about this fellow human being but then think that if they are severely injured you will have to touch them to pick them up, and what if they are not of your religion?
As you contemplate your dilemma of whether to touch this person to aid them you hear your father's voice telling you how proud he is that you have followed in the family tradition of being loyal to this religion.
So what do you do? If you touch this person and they are not of your religion you and your family will be ostracized from the discipline. You step back to contemplate your situation, what are you thinking, and what do you do?
