You are working with the experienced team members who you respect greatly. If they can't come up with the solutions on their own, you're not going to get there. It's OK to remind people of deadlines, but pushing will be counter-productive.  They don't need your help.

What is the best course of action:

a)   Give members time to work the problems out for themselves.

b)   Ask the group for ideas, then set objectives and supervise closely to insure the objectives are met.

c)    Outline strategies and goals and show the committee how to achieve them.

d)   Act as facilitator. Give encouragement, but allow group members to interact and set their own goals and strategies.
