In my research I will use the qualitative research design (Barker, 2009). Qualitative design is a kind of inquiry that is involved with analyzing information which is obtained through behavior and also language in a given natural setting. In this design one can capture expressive information such as values, feelings, motivations, and believes which are very hard to obtain through the quantitative methods. Since my work entails the cultural competence then I do not have other option rather than to adopt the qualitative means as it is the best suited for my research (Barker, 2009). This is because it is very difficult to gather the information that I need if I use the quantitative means. With adoption of the qualitative design, I will also incorporate both technical and thought full reflection of the researchers because there are some areas that I will be forced to handle statistically to analyze the data so as to get the meaning of the raw data and other areas, I will just use a reflection of thoughts.
