Identify and discuss the challenges women face in prison.  What are the implications and how can society better address these concerns? Locate at least two specialized women’s programs and describe each.  

You can address the topic from any vantage point and can be more specific in how you tackle the concept in your paper.  You can run your ideas by me for clarification if needed.  Be sure to incorporate theory and research into your paper.    You must use a minimum of eight sources and the sources should include at least two research

articles and two books and a maximum of two websites. Your findings should be organized into a 5 page report, double spaced and proofread.  I will factor in the quality of your writing and the effort you put forth in your overall grade.You will need to include a works cited page for your sources.  Cite your sources in the text.
