(b) Sexual orientation is separate from gender identity and they do not vary together (ie, most transexuals self-report as "straight" and most homosexuals self-report their gender identity as aligned with their biological sex). However, given what you've learned so far, could variation in pre-natal exposure to sex hormones also help explain variations in sexual orientation? Why or why not? Explain your answer.
