 People’s views on personal privacy vary from ‘not very concerned’ in that people don’t think they can do much to control their privacy to ‘extremely concerned’ where people stay off of social media and try to monitor and control what personal information gets shared.  Since we’ve been modeling threats as they relate to company and customer data, have you ever thought about creating a threat model (albeit an informal one) for your own personal data?  How important is personal data privacy to you?  How well do you understand social media platforms such as Fb, Instagram, Pinterest, etc., and their business models of mining and selling your data?  Do you think companies/government, etc. should get your permission before they collect and sell your data?
