Discussion:

For this Journal, reading first reading material (See attached file)in this module, and review the Elements of art listed there (Line, Light, Color, Texture, Shape, Space, Value).

Using those descriptions as a guide, select any artwork from Part 3 of the textbook (See attached art picture), and describe the elements the artist has used.

Your description should be in complete sentences, and should demonstrate correct use of art vocabulary. Don't worry about where the piece is from or what it means. Just describe the visual characteristics using the vocabulary you've learned this week.

Formatting Requirements:

• 1.       Please indicate the title, artist or culture, and date of the artwork you describe.
• 2.       Your response should be 200-300 words.
• 3.       Use MLA format for the heading (four lines) and page headers (last name and page number) and double-space your text.
