3 questions answered in format

1.  An enterprise, whether it sells things or information, consists of four essential elements: 1)production, 2) marketing, 3) Human Resources, & 4) finance. Write an essay which explains what each of the four elements represents in the firm, & why each element is an indispensable part of the whole. 

2.  A manager is responsible for three types of elements: 1) ideas, 2) people, & 3) things. Explain, with concrete examples, how a manager may discharge his functions as he/she attempts to deal with each of the three elements. 

3.  This is a research question. For the most recent year, explain using real figures, the importance of that international trade (imports & exports) has between the U.S. & Canadian economies. Your essay should address what are the principal products that the U.S. imports & exports from Canada in a given year. Be sure to identify your sources.
