A research paper on the benefits and risks of the Atkins diet. 

• You must use at least 4 peer reviewed journal articles in this paper anything more must be a peer reviewed journal article
• APA format 7th edition 
• Be sure to use proper APA in text citations
• Must be 6+ FULL pages of work
• 12 point font, Times New Roman, double spaced
• Your paper should look something like this:
• Brief Intro: what is your topic, why is it important to our field, how much do we know about it currently, short history of the topic if applicable
• Article 1: Summarize the article/study, what were they attempting to uncover, was it a review article or an experimental study, if it’s a study how did they do it, if it’s a review – what were they looking for, what are the most important points from this article that shed light on your topic/question, were there any flaws in the methodologies used – either that the author sees or that you see
• Article 2: see above
• Article 3: see above
• Articles 4-5(if you have them)
• Conclusion: Now wrap all of these articles together, is there conflicting evidence?, is the question fully answered?, here is where you can inject your own thoughts and what you took away from the articles you used, how can you apply what you learned to your life or to others?, What research would you like to see done on the topic in the future?  What was your biggest takeaway from doing this research?
