Any form of assessment must be valid and reliable. Given your understanding of validity and reliability, what are factors that influence interpretation of assessment? Is this a problem? Is it a more significant problem in some domains over others? Justify your answer.

Recall that validity refers to the accumulation of evidence to support the inference of test scores. Neither validity NOR reliability is a property of a test. Please do not use the phrase "... a test measures what it purports to measure."

The question pertaining to "Is it a more significant problem in some domains over others?" is confusing to say the least. A more appropriate question would be to ask if a score from a test might be interpreted differently depending on the consequences of the decision. (This is also addressed in the Principles).
