Upon the completion of your 10 observation hours, you will write a 3-5 page reflective paper on the different aspects of the approach (environment, materials, teacher interactions, and general philosophy) you observed. If you observed in more than one program type (which you did all the videos), you can compare and contrast the two programs (PICK TWO based on these Waldorf, Montessori, or Reggio).This is to start your paper. Your paper should include the following:

An overview ofeachof the aspects (environment, materials, teacher interactions, and general philosophy) and how you saw these implemented in the video's classroom. Be sure to include:

a. Terminology from the videos and presentations

b. Specific examples from the observationto support your statements

c. Coverage of all 4 areas (environment, materials, teacher interactions, and general philosophy) focusing on the aspects that are uniquely from Waldorf, Montessori, or Reggio. (You are looking for the ways this approach is different from the ordinary classroom.)

Note: As there are 4 areas to address (environment, materials, teacher interactions, and general philosophy), there will be 4 different sections - each section must include an overview of that area and then address points a,b, and c above.

Also, I am not looking for a recounting of the events of the day minute by minute. You need to select the parts of your observation that pertain to the focus at hand.
