At the end of this week's discussion about resume revision, please write a mini-SWOC analysis of how things went for you. As usual, organize your analysis with the SWOC headings--Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Challenges.
Here are four questions to guide your analysis:
- What positive qualities did your resume have as you began the process of updating?
- What weakness did you notice on your own or after reviewing material in the folder "Readings and resources for resume upgrades" at the top of our Week 4 Module?
- What opportunities did your teammates highlight for you as you worked to update and improve your resume?
- What challenges have you encountered in this process, from inside yourself or from the outside?
Aim for about a page in length, including your memo heading.
Please submit your analysis here. Continue to practice a Plain Language layout--with bold section headings and with paragraph breaks to "chunk" your analysis into meaningful units within sections.
I'm looking forward to reading your SWOC analysis as a preview to reading your new version of your resume!
