Bad News Memo: Automated Kiosk
After doing research on the advantages of self-checkouts, Sports Solutions has decided to set up two automated self-checkout kiosks in its Phoenix store. As a result, at least two sales associates will lose their jobs. As the manager of the Phoenix store, you write a memo to your sales associates in which you alert them to the upcoming change, which will be effective April 1, 2017.
The assignment:
Please write a memo, relaying the negative message in the text above. Write a bad news message,
- starting with a buffer and forecast the message
2. presenting reasons to justify the negative message
Develop a minimum of three reasons in sufficient detail so that the reader will clearly understand the benefits of automated checkout kiosks. Include at least two sources from your research and document them using the APA format.
