Case Conceptualization: Each Student will choose a character from a multicultural film or television show. The student must conceptualize the client from a multicultural Individual or Family theoretical orientation.

a)       Identify at least two things you have in common with the client on which you can develop some rapport.

b)      Identify at least three potential differences between you and the client and how you will address those in your counseling with he/she.

c)       Analyze where you believe the client to be in his/her identity development on at least two different identity development models and how you will meet him/her where he/she is in her development. Identify what additional assessments you might use or how you might gather additional information to gain a clear understanding of his/her worldview.

d)      Outline how you will advocate for the client and assist her to advocate for himself/herself.

e)       Evaluate who you will need to include in your work with the client and how they will be included.  Also, identify at least two community resources that you would recommend for the client.

f)        Finally, address any potential ethical concerns related to working with the client and what actions you might take to mitigate them.

Your final product will be a 8-10 page (excluding Title page and reference list) Word document written in APA format, utilizing at least five scholarly sources. Your paper should be written in a clear, concise, and organized manner; demonstrate ethical scholarship in accurate representation and attribution of sources; and display accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
