1. Develop an introduction for that topic’s speech body addressing the 4 functions of an introduction: attention getter, relate topic to speaker, relate topic to audience and preview (preview only!) the main ideas that would be discussed in the speech body. Remember to choose an attention getting technique that we discussed in class or from your textbook in Chapter 11.
2. Develop a conclusion for the speech that draws a sense of closure and creates a lasting impression. For this exercise do develop a brief summary of main ideas as part of your conclusion.
