Each student will write a 5 page paper, due at midterm, which will take 3 websites and/or social media sites/channels and critically analyze them for:

• Content

• Site maps

• User Interface Design

• Audience Analysis

• Graphic Design

• Effective Communication

• Information Architecture

• Accessibility

• Search Engine Optimization

• Mobile and Desktop Design effectiveness

These papers will help to give a language for critically designing web content. I am looking for an analytical perspective where you make arguments for your positions using terminology we have discussed throughout the course, and through research. This is meant to be more than an opinion piece, I want to see critical thinking and the formation of a defensible visual language. 

Create a sitemap for each site defining its basic information architecture. 

The final document should be turned in as a single pdf, be sure to include citation.
