Information systems play a strategic role in the life of an organization because they can directly affect the decisions and plans made by the managers but also show influence on how products and services are produced. Role of Internet in Organizational IS:

b). Virtual Organizations: These kinds of organizations have short term organization structures and partnerships to satisfy immediate needs. And they keep changing their structure continuously.
