There are different types of organizational cultures but for a large organization that is undergoing major change, entrepreneurial culture will be most ideal. Basically, entrepreneurial culture is characterised by “high levels of risk taking, dynamism and creativity,” (Jackson & Schuler, 2000, p. 163). In this type of culture, there is high commitment to experimentation and innovation in the organization’s quest to produce new and unique products to the customers. This particular type of culture creates change rather than react to change in the environment it will be operating in. enlightened managers anticipate change in their operations and they scan the environment in order to put effective measures that can be implemented in order to adopt change in their operations.

This type of culture is very effective in a large organization that is undergoing a major change. Emphasis is put on experimentation and generation of new ideas in the operations of the companies against the background of competitive environments in which they are operating. In order to appeal to the interests of many customers, it is imperative for the company to experiment on new ideas that can help it to improve the already existing products.
