This paper is adopting a mix methodology, i.e. primary and secondary research, which means that all the data collected have been from published articles, magazines, books, journals and newspaper articles and through questionnaire and interviews.

This essay declares that dyslexia is a mental disorder that is prevalent among both children and adults. An individual with dyslexia faces difficulty in reading, writing, and spelling. thus overall he/she faces problems in learning opportunities. Due to this disorder their cognitive abilities conceal behind the complexities of learning. Dyslexic individuals have poor short-term memory, limited concentration span, poor writing capabilities, frequent letter and number reversals, inconsistent spelling, and difficulty in blending visually similar words. these individuals disregard punctuations. Moreover, they face difficulty in numeracy and time, and get confused in mathematical symbols and written calculations. Due to these problems and issues they get disorganized and confused about daily tasks, and are poor in time management. Thus a dyslexic child needs proper attention, care, and support from both the family and school. The major grooming of a child takes place in schools thus it is the teachers’ responsibility to tackle such students. The teachers should not only be aware of the basic disorder. dyslexia, but they should also be aware of the strategies, methods, and teaching approaches for children with dyslexia.
