Creating an Effective Presentation

This assignment involves researching and developing a presentation. Choose one of the following options to complete:

Option 1:

-You are the Director of your local or state Chamber of Commerce. Your goal is to develop a presentation highlighting attractions that would draw visitors to your town or state. Develop a PowerPoint focusing on five attractions. In addition to developing strong slides, use the notes feature in PowerPoint to incorporate additional information to expand on your âtalking points.â

-Develop an introduction with hook, relevant content, and a conclusion. Cite your sources and provide APA references on the last slide.

Option 2:

-Many organizations have unique and rich histories, including Post University! Your goal is to research the story of any company that has been in business for at least 10 years and prepare a presentation on its history. In addition to developing strong slides, use the notes feature in PowerPoint to incorporate additional information to expand on your âtalking points.â

-Develop an introduction with hook, relevant content, and a conclusion. Cite your sources and provide APA references on the last slide.

The requirements for the PowerPoint presentations are as follows:

Maximum of 6-10 slides.

Provide a title on each slide.

Use bullet format to highlight speaking points (avoid wordiness).

Include at least three images.

Cite all sources and provide APA references on the last slide.
