Subject: Concerns the grant application for the Hong Kong Tennis Open
Dear Mr. Wayne,
Our Association has been organizing the attractive and exciting tennis competitions for Hong Kong residents for more than 20 years, engaging in raising the public's health awareness. According to the research done by the Hong Kong Sports Federal in 2016, we have an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5.0 in customer satisfaction which is viewed as one of the top organizations in providing sports entertainment. Recently, we have applied for the a hundred-million-dollar grant for the Hong Kong Tennis Open which is considered as a new breakthrough and sense of accomplishment to promote about tennis to a larger group of people to further build a good brand image.
Undoubtedly, a lot of citizens have become our annual member and we also provide them with a lot of benefits such as discounts on the ticket. For example, for those members who have attended more than four matches can get one free ticket; for those members who have bought five can get one free. As the matches has been highly expected and the popularity of our service is increasing, it is notable, for example, that our loyal members are obsessed with our service so they might line up all night from 11 in the evening until its opening for buying the ticket. Consequently, middle and back rows seat with better watching sports were filled quickly and it only left plenty of seats in the front rows which were free of charge.
It is often said that our service is attentive and considerate of the citizens and so with this in mind to provide comprehensive and appealing tennis competitions to more and more citizens has already been our core value. In hope of achieving this goal, I would suggest that we should launch a free large-scale 2-day event to invite more non-members to participate starting from next month by designing an appealing promotion on different social medias like Facebook because it is the most cost-effective way to reach a wide range of people in a short period of time. By doing so, our reputation can be boosted and thus cancelling out the costs involved.
I'm highly appreciate and ensured that my suggestions would be workable to help applying for this grant because the benefits outweigh its costs later in time if your approval is gained
Warm regards,
Eric Dickson
