Primary Discussion ResponseOver the past 2 weeks, you have begun your writing process by choosing a topic, working on a thesis statement, and creating an introduction. This week, you will complete your 3 body paragraphs. Follow the format below to write your 3 body paragraphs:

• Body paragraph #1 (should be about the first characteristic you name in your thesis)

  • Supporting details
  • Transition statement
• Body paragraph #2 (should be about the second characteristic you name in your thesis)
  • Topic sentence

  • Transition statement
• Body paragraph #3 (should be about the last characteristic you name in your thesis) 
  • Topic sentence 
  • Supporting details
  • Transition statement

Note: Remember that you should not include outside research in this essay. This essay should include only your own original ideas on your chosen topic.
