How can EPS increase if Net Income and Weighted-average common shares outstanding decrease?

I had to do research on a company for some of the financial ratios and the EPS increased from $5.00 to $5.14 but both the Net Income and Weighted-average common shares outstanding decreased so why did EPS increase?

Any help in explaining it would be appreciated. The other company I did had an increase in EPS but both NI and WA C/S increased.
