Comparative Scholarly Works Assignment Instructions

Overview

The literature review is a process where you synthesize current research and scholarly literature to identify historical aspects of the topic, common trends, and current implications of the proposed research. The literature review should address the cause or causes of the problem or topic, elaborate on the current state of the literature regarding the problem or topic, and present prior solutions to the problem or research questions. This assignment provides the opportunity to practice locating, analyzing, and synthesizing current peer-reviewed scholarly journal articles.

Instructions

For this assignment, you will use the two journal articles you chose for the Individual Scholarly Work assignment in Module 3: Week 3 for the Week 4 assignment and Module 5: Week 5 for the Week 6 assignment. Complete the Comparative Scholarly Works Template using these two articles. This is a 3–4-page assignment, including all pages.

·      The first page should be a correctly formatted (current APA edition) title page that includes the title of your study written as a recommendation.

·      The second page will include the Central Research Question for your study and the completed table. The template must be used to compare the two peer-reviewed journal articles. The minimum requirement for this assignment is 1000 words.

·      The last page should be a correctly formatted reference page that contains two references (one for each peer-reviewed journal article).
