Topic A: Equality and Discrimination

Do you think that it is ever justifiable to treat people differently on the basis of their race or sex or religion or another group characteristic? Explain. Should we further multiculturalism and diversity? Why or why not? Make sure you understand the differences between multiculturalism and diversity.

Topic B: Moral Worth

Can you construct counterexamples to Kant's view that actions done for the sake of duty have more moral worth in every case than actions done not in accordance with duty? This 1.5-minute video can show you clearly the ramifications of Kant's imperative on truth-telling.
