This is a “take-home” exam; students may use any academic-level reference necessary to develop an appropriate, robust response to the questions below. Remember, the goal is not to merely answer each question using the least amount of words possible. Rather, the goal is to be robust, showcasing the depth of knowledge that’s been obtained from one’s study on the topic so far. All work must reflect the student’s individual efforts. The completed exam needs to be submitted to thedesignated Drop Box in MyCourses no later than 11:59 pm on the due date. Question 1: Critical Movie Analysis (50 pts) Students need to arrange on their own to watch Regarding Henry (1991), directed by Mike Nichols and starring Harrison Ford who plays the role of a Manhattan lawyer who becomes a victim of a gunshot wound to the head resulting in a lack of oxygen to the brain. Question: How realistic are the limitations and challenges he faces from these injuries? In other words, to what degree are these physical, neurological, and emotional limitations consistent with sustaining a n actual neurological injury, or are these limitations based on the fictional creativity of the storyteller? The response needs to be limited to 500-words (10% over/under) and include at least two college-level references. The response needs to address the question posed above and avoid any movie summary. Grading Rubric: 40 points = Critical Analysis, 5 points = Correct Use of APA citation, 5 points = grammar.Note: The movie is available on Amazon Prime. Question 2: Research Analysis (30 pts) Students are required to read the classic journal article by Stanley Milgram (1963), and provide a critical review of the research methodology used in this study. Specifically, what type of research methodology did Milgram use, and what are some of the benefits and limitation that result from this methodology? The response needs to be limited to 250-words (10% over/under). No outside references are required. Grading Rubric: 25 points = Critical Analysis, & 5 points = grammar.Reference: Milgram, S. (1963). Question 3: Research Analysis (20 pts) Vignette: John and Salley are both attorneys; they have one child, Timmy who is about to start high school next month. Timmy wasn’t a stellar student in middle-school. Timmy would prefer playing video games over doing his homework. John and Salley have decided to get a prescription for Vyvanse from Timmy’s doctor believing it will help improve his grades. Using only the SPC library, find two references that might be helpful in addressing either possible risks or benefits from such a prescription. List each reference in correct APA format followed by no more than a two-sentence summary on how the article might prove to be helpful. Grading Rubric: 10 points = Descriptions, & 10 points = APA format
