Diet on Plasma Cholesterol Concentration.

Finger-prick blood samples were centrifuged at 1200 g for 1 min and plasma samples were collected and incubated with reaction mixture (0.1 M Tris-HCl, 1 mM 4-aminoantipyrine, 60 mM phenol, 1 mM sodium cholate, 280 U peroxidase, 7 mM Triton X-100, 65 U cholesterol esterase, 45 U cholesterol oxidase, pH7.7) for 10 min at room temperature. The absorbency of resulting solution was determined at 500 nm.
