For this discussion in this class I would like you to go over all of the chapters we have covered and remind yourself (and us) about the different styles and artists we have covered (right up through this chapter).  Example will be provide on the attachment files.  You have heard and studied everything from Louis Armstrong and King Oliver to Chris Botti and The Screaming Headless Torsos. Some of it you probably enjoyed and some of it you probably didn’t.

I want you to write, for your classmates and I, an overview of your experience throughout this class. Which parts did you enjoy? Which parts did you not? Was there any music that a classmate turned you on to in a discussion or chat that you are a new fan of? Do you have any general comments about jazz in general? Just write a synopsis of this class (In other words a week by week chapter by chapter discussion) with your class experiences and impressions throughout the semester. Kind of a “What did I learn and get out of this class?” paper.
