For week 2, I will need you to get your website ready, so you can reference your website in your email campaigns for additional information listed in your email. Start thinking about the possibility of getting your own domain, your own wordpress website so you can maximize on your knowledge.

For students who attended the DMIS 11 and 25, you should already have a website created or are using one of the WordPress websites I created for you. You can continue to use that site, or create a new one using your own domain and hosting plan.

For those who are new, I can create a space for you on my server and give you access to a WordPress site, but I still highly recommend that you get your own domain and hosting plan and install WordPress on it. If you have not done that before, you can start by going to wordpress.com and open an account there. This will be the fastest and cheapest method to get started. Follow the guidelines listed on wordpress.com to create your first blog.

In both cases, please post your web address that showcases your website. Then, explain in details what is your website about, what is the main theme/purpose of your website (ex: sell my photography services, sell my design services, sell my product(s), etc...), and how will the email campaign that you created in week 1 work with your website. What do you expect people to do after viewing your email and going to your website? What should there next step be and is it clearly stated?
