The readings for this week introduce a broad, though by no means exhaustive, range of issues pertinent to medical anthropological concerns. I'd like you to hone in on one specific topic and/or a specific passage or passages in one of the readings that you found particularly surprising or interesting. Has it made you think differently or perhaps more deeply about a certain issue? If so, in what ways?
