As these food products are artificial in nature so there are a lot of health risks with this kind of foods. This essay will discuss the different health risks of genetically modified foods.

According to the study of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, different animals indicated serious health problems related to Genetically Modified food products. Problems are very serious like immunity problems, infertility, insulin regulation problem, quick ageing before time and different problems related to the gastrointestinal system. It very clearly states that there is a very close relationship between genetically modified foods and health risks.

Genetically modified foods are a great risk for children and pregnant woman. In different experiments where genetically modified foods are being used shows that pregnant woman and children are very adversely affected. All these experiments were done on cat and cow. It shows that the death rate of cats is increasing by the usage of genetically modified soy. It further identifies that all female cats were facing pregnancy problems. Genetically modified foods pose a lot of threats to the reproductive system of a woman. It created lots of reproductive complications like premature delivery, infertility, abortions and uteruses. This experiment was done on buffalos in Haryana, India.
