Hello, I am looking for someone to write an essay on Adult Health Care Privatization. It needs to be at least 10250 words.
The literature review and other studies mentioned throughout this report highlights the key elements of such an approach which includes a positive consumer attitudes, better access to improved quality of health and social care services for adults, wider access to vital information. freedom to manage one’s own finances regarding health care. implementation of defensive methods for providing services to the vulnerable consumers requiring care and assistance etc. among others. At the same time, the literature also raised serious concerns regarding the viability of such a project in achieving the targeted objectives, which include concerns regarding management of direct payments among cares and users of such services, providing training to staff, and difficulties which may be encountered in supplying personal assistants to those in need etc. Although the governing bodies have and are taking adequate steps to address and overcome such setbacks, the viability and potential of success of such a project is a matter of great significance in terms of research.
Against this backdrop, this paper argues that:
• It is time to implement reformist projects such as the SDS (self-directed support) approach and assess its viability and outcomes with regard to the provision of health and social care for vulnerable adults.
• Consumers or service users must be afforded greater autonomy over their funds and must be offered a wider choice by the government bodies with respect to adult care.
• A comprehensive comparative study such as this, would help in understanding the diverse perspectives concerning this approach and substantiate the hypothesis that the personalization agenda of the UK government regarding the provision of adult health and social care services can be successfully converted into a practical reality.
