In order to analyse the market potential for the grocery shopping through Internet, a study was carried out in Vienna. Primary objectives of the study were to find out whether there was any relation in between demographics and shopping habits of the customers, the amount of Internet experiences in the households and the market potential as well as the online shopping plans for the urban people in Vienna.
