Hi, I am looking for someone to write an article on african amarican Paper must be at least 500 words. Please, no plagiarized work! ID Lecturer African American The colonies which have moved into North America have included the Africans who have come to be termed as the African Americans. These African Americans have been subjected to all forms of biasness in terms of racial discrimination and prejudice, which is unbecoming of their due role within the American society. They have suffered on most counts and there is reason enough to believe such a premise. How the African Americans have been dealt within the United States leaves a very bad taste in the mouth because they have been subjected to racial differences which have literally ransacked the very basis of this community. The Black Americans who migrated to the United States feel that they made the wrong move but then again there was a positive in the example that one can give of the President of the United States of America – Barrack Obama. However, this does not mean that if the President of the superpower nation of the world is an African American, he would go about doing things his own way. There is a definitive system and a set of policies which are followed within the country, and there is enough reason why and how one can witness discrimination of the highest order. The African Americans face prejudice, segregation and racism merely due to the fact that they are from a community which is termed as ‘Black’ in essence (Winkler, 2010). Racism is such an important subject that it can only bring about more negatives than one can think of. The need is to set things right within the relevant equations of the African Americans because the lack of this would mean more problems for all and sundry and not just African Americans alone. The discrimination is in the form of dual labor markets where the African Americans are not given a chance to perform at their best as compared to the Hispanics or even the Native Americans. There is a complete segregation of sorts that exists within the discussions which center on the premise of the African Americans, and how they are able to manifest their own selves with the passage of considerable time within the superpower nation of the world (Moll, 2002). The justice tangents seem to suffer on the same counts because the African Americans are being dealt with in a very deceitful way as their inmates are maltreated. The justice does seem to have a two-way turn because it is one set of justice codes for the other people and a totally different one for the African Americans. Similarly, affirmative actions are the policies which take into contemplation the race, color, creed and religion issues. The same are discerned at length within the American boundaries where focus has been on the maltreatment of people if they belong to the ‘Black’ community. Affirmative action ensures that positive steps are undertaken to make sure there is an increase within the population of the people who belong to the African Americans in essence. The element of institutional discrimination is apparent within the different organizations and institutions which are there to serve the cause of the people at large. There are racial segregations that are present within the institutions which are running under the aegis of the United States, both from the public sector enterprises as well as that of the private domains. Similarly, glass ceiling exists within the country when the talk goes out loud regarding the barriers to workplace advancements for the sake of women and minority groups, in which case the latter comprise of the African Americans. The glass ceiling has existed for a long time now, and more specifically for the women who are under the realms of the ‘Black’ community within America (Plater, 1997). I am sure that this is something which will not produce much goodness for the society and the people at large. I certainly seem to identify with the African Americans because I am one of them and a very proud one too. I like to make myself apparent within my ethnic identity. however I know that I would not be treated with much respect and dignity across the board. These are some of the peculiar reasons why I feel very strongly about my race and ethnicity, and this is suggested by the text penned above as well. Therefore I am not a part of the United States’ mainstream culture as I feel quite dissociated from the same. But what is most important is my inclination towards my own community, and I want to remain attached to it in the times to come. References Moll, K., 2002.
