Hi, I am looking for someone to write an article on the christian story of creation Paper must be at least 1250 words. Please, no plagiarized work! The Christian story of creation clearly states that in the beginning there was God who created the heavens and the earth. God existed as the Trinity. God the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. The earth was engulfed by darkness and thus when God created light. he saw it was good whereby he separated the light from the darkness. The light he termed as day and the darkness at night. This happened on the first day of creation. On the second day, God separated heaven and earth and then evening and morning were created. The myth further continues until the sixth day when a man was created. On the third day, the land and sea were separated. The water was gathered in one place. In addition, vegetations were created and were planted on the very same day. On the fourth day, the moon and the sun were created. Since the sun was the greater light, it was made to rule the day while the moon as the lesser light to rule the night (American Bible Society 2014).
On the fifth day, God created the creatures of the sea, land, and sky and commanded them to multiply. On the sixth day, the man was created in the likeness of God. Thus, the man was created in the image of God. God further saw that man was lonely and so he created a woman from the rib of a man. The woman was created to be man’s companion. Moreover, God blessed them and told them to fruitful and multiply to fill the earth (Bouteneff 2008). The man was given the authority to command all earth and to name all the creatures of the sea and sky together with the plants. Green plants were given to man for food. After the completion of creation, on the seventh day, God blessed it as a day of rest as He too rested on this day after his creative work. All Christians thus believe in this creation myth and it forms the backbone of the Christian religion by faith (John 2014).
