Hi, I need assistance with trying to find an example of from the national or world events in the past 6 months that supports my stance that both the ownership and stakeholder theory have an equal impact on the business environment. You just need both, and one cannot not have a greater impact without the other. The ownership theory has an agenda to increase its monetary value for the shareholders. Their interests have priority over anyone else in the company. However, the stakeholder theory focuses on morals and values in the society, in which their decisions affect everyone in and outside the company- the customers, employees, and shareholders to name a few. Although the focal point of the stakeholder theory pushes societal value, and the ownership theory pretty much focuses on profitable increases in capital for the shareholders, both are vital to the business environment. The two are like pieces to a puzzle, and the puzzle is not complete without them both. Thanks!
