This week in assignment 2 we learn about common pitfalls that keep us from engaging in ethics. Weston calls these "ethical short-circuits." The ethical short-circuits include: 

  • flying by instinct
  • offhand self-justification (which include egoism)
  • dogmatism
  • relativism (ethics and diversity)
  • moral disengagement (who needs ethics?)

These are practices that we're all guilty of from time to time. After reading Chapter 2, please do the following:
