Clinical psychology, on the other hand, is a combination of many disciplines- science, theory, and clinical knowledge to understand, prevent, and reveal psychological distress in personal development, (Linden and Paul 67). However, clinical psychology discipline and other related disciplines are replacing psychological discipline is the main discussion in this essay. One, forensic psychology is limited in scope compared to clinical psychology. Forensic psychology is limited towards law and crime. the findings are aimed at making sound judgments on criminals and evaluating the court proceedings on special cases like children (Earl 90). They also give an analysis of the individual’s likelihood to commit the crime again in the future. Clinical psychology on the other hand is wide in scope. it is applied in medical field to detect psychological illnesses in individuals but they do not prescribe medications. An individual with clinical psychology spatiality has a capacity to handle a wide range of cases compared to forensic psychology, which is only geared towards law and crime, (Nijboer, Callen, and Kwak 98). This is because in study, forensic psychology is a specialized judicial purpose unlike clinical psychology that can apply any where even in law and crime. ...

Clinical psychology and its investigations and evacuations are detailed. They seek to gather all the necessary information (Linden and Paul 23). This is because its professional definition requires for an evaluation that is useful in determining the proper medication for the well-being of the client. All the information concerning the client is put in to documentation, and after further investigation, a doctor makes a prescription of medicine. Due to the nature of being detailed, clinical psychology analysis is the best in making a court decision for it will provide all the necessary information about the concerned individual. Three, the privacy of the information gathered also determines its validity. The individuals handling judicial cases make information of forensic science information accessible. therefore, clinical psychology is private, (Richard 56). In clinical psychology there is more information and it is confidential hence its validity is high. An individual is likely to trust a clinical psychologist more and share more information unlike with a forensic psychologist for he is afraid the information he/she may share may compromise his freedom, (Canter and Rita 67). Chances are that most of the information collected by forensic psychologists is false because people will tend to say what they want the court to know and keep the rest for them than share with the court. Clinical Psychologists data therefore could be the best in terms of validity compared to forensic psychologist Four, the nature of their information also varies. Forensic psychology information described is impartial, made for objectives, and is often detached.
