From the perspective of an organization, culture could be defined as a collective behaviour of various individuals who form the core of an organisation and the purpose which is affiliated to their actions (O’Rielly & Caldwell, 1991). The culture of an entity is primarily comprised of its values, traditions, symbols, beliefs and habits. According to Adkins and Caldwell (2004), it is a set of shared mental assumptions which guide a company by depicting appropriate behaviours for various situations. Electronics UK is a highly diversified company and individuals belonging to different ethnic and cultural background and belonging to various attitudes and values as compared to their fellow employees are employed here.

Motivation plays a very important role in employee performance and consistency. An employee who is highly motivated leads to better performance, creativity, productivity and this in turn leads to a higher level of profitability and leads to better company performance (Hosking & Gergen, 1995). From the context of Electronics UK, motivation might prove to be a very importance practice in employee performance and it could be highly important to individuals who have been working in public companies. Electronics UK has not done enough in motivating its employees and has to implement some very important strategies which can help in boosting employee morale. For employees, praise and recognition is important but if they are unable to don’t perform well than management needs to re-evaluate their performance. A company needs to recognize importance of trusting their employees and important motivation is for employees (Flamholtz & Randle, 1998).
