There is a lot of competition in the job market in the contemporary world. Employers are only recruiting the best candidates and hence an internship helps an individual advance his or her skills in preparation for future job interviews and vocations. Some of the skills advanced through an internship include communication skills, ability to work in teams, and time management (WetFeet 13).
My duties and responsibilities during my internship included organizing patients application alphabetically, I filled out a sheet of the important patients details particularly name, cell number, date of birth, and email address. Subsequently, my duties included inserting all the important patients details in the system, ensured patient confirmed their appointments, and I also worked at the reception, insurance department, and financial department.
