History and Evolution of Freudian Theory
Understanding Freud's ideas regarding the unconscious mind is foundational to developing a theoretic understanding of human behavior. However, for the doctoral learner to adequately explore the field of psychology, it is important to understand what motivated these Neo‐Freudian theorists to propose alternative perspectives and how their differing ideas advanced the field of psychology. Building from the outline you submitted in Topic 2, you will further explore the history and evolution of Freudian theory and the rise of Neo‐Freudian ideas.

The M4 paper should include the following headers
Introduction (set the tone for the paper in strong scholarly language. Do NOT use questions in the introduction; instead frame strong, scholarly statements and develop a thesis statement relative to the assignment intent. Do NOT write in first or second person voice. Do NOT introduce articles. The paper is not about articles; instead, it is about the derived, holistic themes after several weeks of reading.)
Common Themes In Reviewed Articles (A theme is something that is present in at least three of the articles. For each individual theme, at least three of the articles must be cited to show that the theme emerged in the majority of reading. Failure to cite at least three articles per theme will result in lost points and does not constitute a themed topic.
