GUIDELINES:

Find 2 recently published (within the last 8 weeks from CREDIBLE sources such as New york times) opinion/position articles that address issues/topics for your debate topic which is Media Misrepresentation/Non-representation ( on Culture, Religion, Gender, LGBTQ).

 Make sure that These are articles that are arguable or debatable (should be persuasive). 

• Provide a summary of the topic the article addresses and the position the

author(s) take on the issue.

• Using the Toulimin model, identify (highlight or underline and label) the following:

o Claimo Data (evidence)o Warranto Backing (if any)o Grounds (if any)o Hidden premises

• MAKE SURE TO  Provide an objective (not your opinion about the issue) evaluation, based on Toulmin model of argument, on whether author sufficiently and effectively argued his/her point. Be sure to CLEARLY label all parts of the Toulmin model on the article.  Please attach the original articles (u can just put link or directly attach them).
