How many short bones are in the body?

We have three diffrent short bones which are:

• Carpus (the joint between the arm and hand, made up of eight bones - part of a wrist)

• Patella (also known as the kneecap or kneepan , - a thick, circular-triangular bone)

• Tarsus (a cluster of seven articulating bones in each foot)
