I have a question about buffer solution.

So when I use the equation pH= pka -log(acid/base)

When log value gives 0, it seems like it will give a answer that's a buffer solution.

For example, if

(a) a mixture of 100ml of 0.100M NaC2H3O2 with 100ml of 0.100M Hcl

(b) a mixture of 100 ml of 0.200M NaC2H3O2 with 100ml od 0.100M Hcl.

Then b is the answer bc all base was consumed and also the acid and base are equal amount which gives log value of 0?

Am I understanding correct?
