I need to come up with a claim and hypothesis on the effect of video games.

Claim would be:Video games impact the way the we interact in our families thus effecting American Values.

I am struggling to come up with a hypothesis for this. If I am not mistake can a hypothesis be something like: with the effect video games there can be a harmful and a helpful effect on the way families interact with their families, children and spouses.

would something like this work? thank you for any input.
