Identify and discuss the different forms of discrimination Mexicans and Mexican-Americans faced politically, economically, and socially in the United States. Use the four assigned readings to provide examples and evidence to support your essay. Essay is double spaced and 5-6 pages in length. 

Definitions:Political discrimination happens when the political system limits the opportunity of social groups to participate in political activities because they have certain social characteristics, such as ethnicity or race, language, religion, party membership, or political views.

Social discrimination is a particular form of discrimination in which social behavior toward or against a person or group is based on social perceptions of their characteristics. It can be 

negative behavior directed against a certain group as in race and ethnic discrimination.  

Economic discrimination is discrimination based on economic factors. These factors can include job availability, wages, the prices and/or availability of goods and services, and the amount of capital investment funding available to minorities for business. This can include discrimination against workers, consumers, and minority-owned businesses.
