Identifying When to Use Univariate Analyses

For this discussion, you will build on your review of basic inferential statistical tests by discussing situations where different types of analyses apply. You will need to generate your own research ideas and clearly discuss a research design that would require the use of a t-test. Then, you will build on this design so that your example study could be extended so as to require an ANOVA for analysis.

• Make sure you clearly describe the independent variable and its levels.
