Scenario

You have beenasked to create a database model usingMSVisio Database Model

DiagramTemplate. The purpose of this iLabis to provide experience designing, withlimitedinstructions,a simple database basedona list of data requirements andassociated business rules.

Youwillthencomplete an MSAccess database basedonthe model developedin

Visio,creatingthe necessary tables and relationships.

Uponcompleting this lab,youwillbe able to

1.create a new Visio file for database design;

2.usingthedatarequirementsandthebusinessrulesprovided,developa conceptualmodel(ERD),includingattributedatatypesandrequiredfield

lengths;and

3.create a new MS Access database basedon the ERD.
