In 2015 during a CBC panel preceding the Supreme Court decision on assisted suicide panelists were asked whether assisted suicide should be allowed in Canada. One panelist in favor of allowing it argued that he saw this from a 'strict libertarian perspective' and that he believed in the idea of 'my body, my life'.
